Following our news about the installation of handrails on the culverts that run alongside the new Northern Relief Road in Bognor, Arbus has won the vehicle safety fencing contract for the development.
The vehicle safety fencing will stretch along the 1.7km single carriageway that will connect Chichester Road to Rowan Way. The £4 million Northern Relief Road project is the largest of its kind in West Sussex for a generation. Part of the Bersted Park 750-home development in Bognor Regis, the new road is due to open in 2015.
Arbus has extensive experience in supplying and installing a wide range of vehicle safety fencing systems, and our services in this area include the Road Restraints Assessment Process, which ensures that our customers receive the highest level of service as well as a comprehensive design, supply and installation package.
Other fencing projects in the last six months have included the installation of a safety fencing barrier along a stretch of busy road in Surrey to help keep hungry drivers safe, acoustic barriers for the London Gateway project and security fencing for the 2013 Tour of Britain.
